Arlington National Cemetery

On Sunday, after the White House, Beth and I headed out to Arlington National Cemetery. This is the view from the entrance to the cemetery.

This is Robert E. Lee's house at the middle of the cemetery.
(Actually, it was his wife's house!)

This is the view from near Kennedy's grave. You can barely see the Washington Monument on one side and the Lincoln Memorial on the other side.

These are Kennedy graves, including JFK and his eternal flame.

These are views of various kinds of headstones throughout the cemetery.

This is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

We got to witness the Changing of the Guard.

We also saw the presenting of wreaths and the playing of Taps.

After a long day of wandering around DC Beth was tuckered out!
