This past weekend I went on a road trip with my new friends Candace(from Kentucky) and Margo(from North Carolina) to Candace's home in Kentucky.
This is a picture of me (left), Candace (middle), and Margo (right).
After dinner we sat out on the porch with some of her friends and sang worship songs. It was an amazing time!
Margo had fun straightening my hair and Candace put on makeup. I love makeovers! I felt so pampered!
Don't worry! This is not alcohol!!! It is a drink called Ale 8 1 that you can only get in Kentucky. It is fondly known as Kentucky Swamp Water. It's kind of a mixture of Mounain Dew and Ginger Ale. I loved it!!!
On Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun!
I didn't actually buy this pumpkin but I wanted a picture with one.

Margo and I on the trip back home. The ride through West Virginia was beautiful!!! The leaves had started changing! It was so weird to see hillsides (mountainsides to these easterners) covered in deciduous trees instead of fir trees!!!
And that was all! We had an amazing time! Next we're going to the North Carolina State Fair with Margo!!! I can't wait!!!!

how fun! I love WVA in the fall, it is GORGEOUS!!! You can almost hear John Denver singing just looking at it!
So.... after NC, will they drive with you to Oregon???
Carol, I love that picture of you with your hair straightened! You are beautiful! Glad you had fun with your friends, makes me remember a fun trip to the pumpkin patch with the Angels, I think there was you, me, Natalie and Steph V along!
